The experience accumulated over five generations and more than 160 years of dedication have made the Condeminas family an expert, not only in the maritime-port world but also in the field of logistics in general. This know-how has allowed the services of the companies of the M. Condeminas Holding to be perfected and adapted until reaching a high level of professionalism that makes them current benchmarks in the management of their activities.
ERGRANSA, a company belonging to the M. Condeminas Holding, was founded in November 1961. Domiciled in the WTC Barcelona, Muelle Barcelona, s/n, Edificio ESTE, 5th floor, it built and manages, since its foundation, the agro-food bulk terminal, located on the Contradique dock of the Port of Barcelona. This Terminal is the oldest in the Iberian Peninsula and is a benchmark in the local and European sector.
Its corporate purpose is the unloading and/or loading by pneumatic and/or conventional means of ships arriving in Barcelona with bulk agri-food merchandise, with its subsequent storage and distribution management.
The Terminal, under a concession regime, operates three concrete silo buildings with a maximum capacity of 145,000 tons, and two warehouses attached to the silo buildings and specially built for agri-food raw materials. Their surfaces, of 5000 and 6000 m2, allow for the storage of 25,000 tons and 30,000 tons, respectively. The terminal has and manages a rail and truck loading/unloading station.
The Terminal operates under the standards of permanence in a system of continuous improvement, maintaining its management in compliance with ISO 9001 (service management), ISO 14001 and EMAS (environmental management) ISO 22000 (food safety management), OSHAS 18001 (management of occupational risk prevention), complemented by compliance with the GTP code, Quality Reference and Environmental Practices Guide of the Port of Barcelona.
The Terminal has AEO Authorisation. Authorised Economic Operator for customs simplification/protection and security.
